Being Hindu is so much fun — Like crispy, crunchy beaver tails
No five namajs on the run, no church on Sundays - it entails !!
Pray as you like, when you like, even never, if you wish
– heaven remains an open site !!
Pray to a Pir or Mother Mary, no rules, no schools, Baby Krishna, we can carry !!
Dancing Shiva, puffs the ganja, Playboy Krishna chases Radha!!! ---
The Dark Lord Krishna is the king of love, and brother Balaram, he loves his wine !!
Goddess Durga kills the Devil, and drinking is not an evil !!
Lord Vishnu was a huge drag queen, we drink Bhang and prayers convene!!
Being Hindu is so much fun, no knife, no sword, nor a single gun!
Let the Saudis, call us Kafirs, or abuse us as idolaters,
The more they curse, the more they abuse, we just become more amused!!
Let them curse with faces grim, we will dance tra la trim trim!!
We are Hindus, Hindus proud,
Christians, Sikhs, Muslims, Jews,
We love you, we love you all.
Learn from us and learn to play
Learn to love and learn to say
All roads lead to God – for each, our own way!

This poem is a lightheated look at the rituals Hindus are not forced to blindly follow. Life can be
fun if spirituality is not burdened by ritualistic traditions.
